About Nitro Downloader

Nitro Downloader started from a simple problem: downloading big files in the browser is frustrating. It freezes, loses progress, starts over and dumps everything into the same folder.

Who makes it

The program is made by NitroHub Softwares, a small software company from Brazil. The same team builds it, tests it on real devices and answers whoever writes in.

What it is, and what it is not

It is a download manager for Windows, Linux and Android, with Mac on the way. It downloads from the links you choose: direct links, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, MediaFire, Pixeldrain and the shared folder on your home network.

It ships with no content, has no catalog and does not point you to files. You are responsible for what you download and should only download what you have the right to.

The app interface is in Brazilian Portuguese for now. English and Spanish are on the way.

Why it is free

Because a good download manager should be ordinary, not a luxury. There is no paid version and no locked feature. Costs are covered by the ads on this website and by donations from the people who use it. If you want to help, see how to donate.
