Nitro Downloader is free, with no paid version and no sign-up. Support from companies is what keeps it that way and brings it to more systems.
Ways to help
Credits and infrastructure
Cloud and CDN credits to serve the installers faster around the world, a code signing certificate for Windows and Mac (that is what removes the SmartScreen warning) and devices for testing: phones, tablets and a Mac.
Sponsorship
A monthly or per release amount. The money pays for development time, bug fixes and the next versions, like the Mac one and the app in English and Spanish.
Partnership
Distribution in an app store or software bundle, or an integration with your file storage or hosting service, so your links download straight into the program.

- A thank you in the notes of every release published on GitHub while the support lasts.
- A direct line to the people who build it, to report a problem, ask for an improvement or plan an integration.
What we do not accept
People trust the program because it has no hidden agenda. So no sponsorship buys:
- Changes to what the program downloads, or blocking or allowing a website.
- Collecting data about the people who use it. The app has no account and does not send what you download to anyone.
- Extra software hidden in the installer.
